Privacy
This page describes what cicada.solutions collects, why, and who processes it. It covers the contact form, the Nitaqat calculator and site analytics. It is written to match what the site actually does; if anything here is unclear, email us and we will answer directly.
What the contact form collects
- Name, company, designation, email address and your message.
- We use these only to reply to your enquiry and to keep a record of the conversation.
What the Nitaqat calculator collects
- The workforce figures you enter: total employees, Saudi employees, GCC nationals, and the counting-adjustment categories.
- Your email address, which is required only if you ask us to send you a report.
- Your name and phone number, only if you choose to enter them.
- When you request the report, a copy of the figures above is emailed to Cicada alongside your report. If you would rather not share them, use the on-screen result without requesting an email: no workforce figures or contact details are sent to the report endpoint, although the limited analytics described below still apply.
Analytics
- We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights for aggregate page and performance metrics.
- When a calculation is completed, a custom analytics event records the selected activity, threshold year and estimated band. It does not include your name, email, phone number or entered headcounts.
Who processes your data
- Vercel, which hosts the site and provides the analytics described above.
- Resend, which delivers the report and notification emails.
- Upstash, which limits report requests using one-way hashes of the email address and IP address. Its counters expire automatically after the rate-limit window.
- Formspree, used only as a fallback route for form notifications when email delivery is not configured.
Retention and your choices
- Enquiries and report requests are kept in our email inbox for as long as the commercial conversation is useful, and are deleted on request.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not add you to a mailing list from either form.
- To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email us and we will confirm once it is done.
